Darkroom Montage 2
Darkroom montage that's been handcolored. A bit of watercolor for details first, then Marshall's (or equivalent) oil colors.
For more about what i do and how i do it:
The circular grooves in the sand created by some roots exposed on the beach note the passage of time, and the temporary qualities of life. The trail of some small critter passes thru, all will soon be erased by wind or tides.
After the cybergeddon, or armageddon, or whatever meltdown befalls us, we will be reduced to a fractured world, where lessons will be learned the old fashioned way.
Beach walkers explore the echoing waves at low tide. Perhaps they will find the vibe they seek.
Every cloud has a silver lining... doesn't it?
A surreal take on the US capital city, Wash., DC. Cherry blossoms explode, there are multiple moons in the sky, monuments assume monumental size, and gargoyles hang out on trees. Selenium toned before handcoloring.
